A design inspired in the ritual dance by the Huahua peoples, a tradition found in Puebla and Veracruz. This dance is closely related to the ritual performed by the Voladores de Papantla due to the similarities in their red velvet costumes and their worship of the Sun and Earth that provide life-sustaining nourishment. The captivating tank, a beautiful, round plumed headpiece adorned with colorful metallic paper strips and feathers, is the centerpiece of this ritual dance. The ritual reaches its climax when the dancers swirl on a pinwheel at an impressing speed to symbolize life and movement of "Nahum Collin". A design created in collaboration with Deborah Lijtzain.
